Welcome

The mountain is calling...

… to ROCK THE MOUNTAIN with a great weekend of classic rock featuring Pat Travers (Born Under a Bad Sign, Boom Boom, and Snortin’ Whiskey), Heart by Heart with original members Steve Fossen (Bass guitar) and Michael Derosier (Drums), Hell’s Belles, Seattle’s own all-girl tribute to ACDC and Lee Oskar (formally with War) featuring a performance of old as well as new from recent albums with his new band, Friends.  And of course, no classic rock show would be complete without The New Randy Hansen Experience featuring Randy’s polished Hendrix performance and stunning licks.

That’s right! After nearly two decades, classic rock is making a return to the Mountain! On the 16th, 17th and 18th of August, Whitehorse Musicians Guild (WMG) will host ROCK THE MOUNTAIN, a festival that will feature three days of music, camping, workshops, great food, and local crafts in what many would agree is one of the nation’s most beautiful amphitheaters. Nested in the tall timber at the foot of majestic Whitehorse Mountain is the Darrington Bluegrass Music Park formally Whitehorse Amphitheater. These beautiful grounds feature camping for several thousand and a cool river a short walk from the stage. Camping with your automobiles or RV’s will be allowed for an extra fee.

Friday the Mountain comes alive with Savanah Wood (a locals Favorite), Whiskey River, (a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute) and Hells Belles. Saturday will have a spectacular lineup beginning with Randy Hansen followed by Mainstreet (a Bob Segar tribute), Heart by Heart, Pat Travers, Total Mass Retain (a fantastic Yes tribute from the East Coast) and closing the night with Pink Floyd tribute, Evo Floyd highlighted by multiple video walls and laser show. Sunday will feature Moon Daddy, a Santana tribute, The Davinos and Lee Oskar and Friends. The show will feature an incredible beer garden lineup hosting some of the best local bands in the PNW including El Loco (a ZZ top tribute), Crooked Mile, Cool Water, Woodshed, Full Metal Jacket, Evergreen Sky, Jerry Miller, Steve Crabtree and Guy Johnson. It will be a weekend to remember. Tickets will be available April 1st, and we expect them to go fast so act soon to stake your spot for a great weekend of classic rock! Tickets will be available at www.RockTheMountain.com/tickets.
